Billing and Subscription

Rational BI is primarily a self-service product where you manage your subscription through the user interface. There are three tiers of service:

  • The free tier which you can use without a subscription. No credit card required.
  • Professional, which adds a number of features and is billed as a monthly credit card subscription.
  • Enterprise - which includes custom plans with more advanced features for large organizations. Additional payment options exist for enterprise subscriptions.

PCI Compliance

Payments and credit card information are securely handled through Stripe, our payment provider. Rational BI does not process or handle any financial information.

Managing your subscription plan

To manage your subscription plan, navigate to the billing settings by clicking to the administration menu in the top right corner menu in the user interface and select billing & subscription.

The Billing & Subscription page shows available plans, the plan you are currently subscribed to as well as options to upgrade or cancel your current plan.

Some options will not be visible to customers subscribing to an Enterprise plan.

When you cancel a subscription, changes will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You can continue to use the product under the old plan until it runs out.

Adding and managing credit cards

To add or remove a credit card, navigate to the billing settings by clicking to the administration menu in the top right corner menu in the user interface and select billing & subscription. Click on Payment Methods and follow the prompts.

You can add or delete credit cards. You may be required to enter additional verification information when you register a new card.

Your invoices

To view issued and upcoming invoices, navigate to the billing settings by clicking to the administration menu in the top right corner menu in the user interface and select billing & subscription. Click on Invoices to see a list of invoices. Rational BI will attempt to show upcoming invoices that are still pending as well as those that are open, have been paid or have been cancelled.
